So, Ecto sucks. At least for me (I wouldn’t want to write off the whole piece of software, it looks like it took a while).
Speaking of software, I actually bought some yesterday. I paid good money for a copy of Equinex’s iSale, and am mostly pleased. I would say that it’s a hog, but I’m running a machine that’s three years old, based on architecture that’s been past its prime for even longer, so it’s pretty unfair for me to ask brand new software to be optimised for my hardware.
That said, there are some really easy fixes that would help me right out, like a h-scroll bar on the main content pane. My screen’s only 1024 pixels wide, and whilst I can’t expect to be able to fit everything in like the big kids do, it would be nice to at least be able to scroll when I can’t. Oh, and the menu bar is stuck permanently on “large icons with text”, which I am pretty sure violates a UIG or two.
Nevertheless, I am pretty chuffed, and have just made a bunch of very professional-looking auctions. We shall see if they sell~
[edit] image there is mostly to test this new lightbox2 plugin I got. It’s crashing safari like a motherfucker though >.<
[edit] Rolled back to a more stable one, or something, yay~
